🛫🚇For the past few years, I have been following real estate news very closely. As an Investment Consultant, it is part of my job to stay updated. While tracking the latest trends, one name kept popping up repeatedly: Dholera—India’s first smart city coming up in Gujarat.
So, I thought, why not do some deep research on Dholera? If it turns out to be a profitable 🤑 opportunity, I could add this investment to my clients’ portfolios. During my research, some very important facts came to my light, which I am sharing with you today.
First, I searched on ChatGPT for the ‘Best Investment in India’, and I was surprised 😵💫 to see Dholera at the top with a 5-star rating. As I dug deeper, I found out that while everyone calls it India’s first greenfield smart city, it is actually the *world’s second Platinum-rated city!* Even cities like Dubai, Shanghai, and Singapore haven’t achieved this yet. Now you might ask, which city is the first? Well, go search on Google; you should also do a little bit of hard work! 😆😆
Usually, we see that facilities like roads 🛣️, airports ✈️, and metros 🚇 arrive after a city is populated. But here, the development is happening first, and the residents will move in later—this is what we call a ‘Reverse Development Model.’ The benchmarks set for this city are incredibly high, and I will share more details about them in my next blog.

I will cover topics like 360-degree connectivity, upcoming industries, and world-class infrastructure in separate blogs.
